Date someone who’s just left another relationship
Is it a good idea to date someone who broke up with his girlfriend two months ago?

It’s hard to say how long you should wait before starting a new relationship. The person who stopped the relationship should try to evaluate when he or she is ready to start a new one.
The fact that only two months have passed since he broke up with his girlfriend means that they have probably not had sufficient time to get over it emotionally, even though they have decided not to be together any longer. You could find this challenging.
It’s important to be able to be content to be single, and to have got over an ex, before dating someone else.
