I want a boyfriend

Hi, sometimes I think that it would be nice to have a boyfriend, but if I get one does that mean I’m going against God’s law?

There is nothing wrong with having a boyfriend, but it is a good idea to think through why you need a boyfriend now. People who think about having a boyfriend or girlfriend should also think as far as marriage and a permanent relationship. If you don’t think you could marry him, then you shouldn’t date him. Sometimes we can want a partner so much, that we choose someone who isn’t good for us. You are still young and the most important thing is not to have a boyfriend now, but to have good male and female friends, and develop and mature as a person.
