Having sex with someone means to have sexual contact or to perform sex acts with that person. Sex includes much more than intercourse. When the Bible says that sex should be limited to within the framework of marriage, this also means sexual contact such as heavy petting and oral sex. These acts are so intimate that only a man and woman who are married to each other should be involved in this way. See sexuality.
